Biography

Pedro Vergara is a lawyer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, with a Diploma in intellectual property from the same institution and multiple advanced courses in the specialty. He has specialized his practice in the management of intangible assets.

He has experience advising companies on the management of intangible assets and the use of intellectual property tools to inform and advise on decision-making. Likewise, he has extensive experience in the protection of invention patents and trademarks.

He has participated as a visiting professor in the Intellectual Property Diploma at the Catholic University of Chile, in the Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer Minor at the Catholic University of Chile, and in the Master Business and Law at the Adolfo Ibáñez University.

Interested in current developments in intellectual property, he has published opinion columns on the subject in Diario Financiero and La Segunda.
