An insight into the future of Intellectual Property
The International Trademark Association’s (INTA) Annual Meeting, the world’s largest gathering on intellectual property, will take place on the week of November 16. The meeting will present the reports of the three “think tanks” created by INTA in 2019 to reflect about the lawyer, the in-house practice and the intellectual property office of the future, reflecting on the growing importance that intellectual property is playing in the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems, far beyond the registration of trademarks, patents and designs. Maximiliano, who participated in the latter think tank alongside the heads and former heads of the offices of Australia, Canada, France, India, the Philippines, Singapore, South Africa, the United States, Switzerland, Uganda, and the European Patent Office (EPO), will be in charge of presenting the report to the plenary.
